There's an old episode of Friends in which Monica dates a guy that the rest of the gang adore, she decides to break up with him only to find her friends more devastated by the news than he is... This is pretty much how we met Alex, after briefly dating our friend 3 years ago, they split up, but we weren't willing to let him go that easily! A little bit about Alex... He's great at directions even when blind drunk (despite the occasional detour through a supermarket car park and/or loading bay). He leaves a sparkly trail of glitter everywhere he goes, and will, given the slightest provocation, completely douse himself in the stuff! Rather annoyingly it is a rarity that that he is ever wrong (though it is immensely satisfying when he is). He has one of the loudest and dirtiest laughs you've ever heard. A bit of an insomniac, he is often to be found passed out on the couch at some ungodly hour with the Sex and the City dvd menu stuck on repeat. He has amazing style and the incredibly versatile hair, and as I discovered this summer, an untapped talent for making cocktails! He's an absolute gem. Always amusing, bags of charm, he is gorgeous, intelligent, outgoing and a genuinely all round fantastic person!

I'm not really sure whether a lot of this is complimentary, but I have to admit that it's all true. Apart from all that, I can go more than 24 hours without booze, I don't just watch sex and city, sometimes it's Six Feet Under, and my hair isnt that versatile, only 4 styles.
